About Us

Canal Fulton Jackson is rooted in our community of Canal Fulton and Stark County, Ohio. We believe that our role in the community is equally important to our mission as veterinarians as is caring for our patients. We act as stewards for our community, monitoring trends in illnesses like leptospirosis that may present human health hazards.

We participate in and support community events and our public schools. We donate our services to state wildlife rehabilitation groups. We raise funds (thanks to the generous donations of our clients) to assist injured stray animals or special needs clients.

Dr. Butera has worked with area rescue and humanitarian groups her entire career. Dillie's unexpected fame has brought media attention our way, and we try to use this to raise funds for groups like UNICEF, The Wounded Warrior Project, Animal Rescue groups, Akron Disability Services (Low Vision), and our local schools.
